As people in the twenty-first century become more conscious of their lifestyle choices, discussions about health and fitness have reached an all-time high. Hammer hosted a Health and Fitness Meet to commemorate World Health Day, where renowned fitness expert Yash Agarwal and nutritionist Mayanka Singhal led an interactive session focusing on summer diet and workout routines, particularly for working professionals and bloggers who are at risk of developing lifestyle diseases as a result of their line of work.

“Free-hand exercise is a must for everyone. Because of the extreme heat, going for walks or runs can be difficult, but people can work out at home or join gyms. Everyone, including bloggers, benefits from a little cardio. This will aid in the facilitation of their metabolism and the prevention of gastric problems” said Yash Agarwal, a certified fitness trainer, coach, and owner of Yash Fitness.

With 16 years of experience as a professional nutritionist, Mayanka Singhal, Chief Dietician of Health Junction and diabetic educator, is a leading name in diet management. “I don’t believe in eating less or not eating to lose weight. It is critical to eat properly, but one must also be aware of what they are eating. I understand that bloggers work around the clock and that they must taste food in order to write about it, which can lead to lifestyle issues. Daily eating out can lead to health problems, but they can be avoided if done in moderation. Once a week, they can participate in a detox day. This aids the body’s fat-burning process” said Mayanka.

Chef Ritabrata Biswas of Hammer, who recently launched a breakfast menu, served healthy options like an egg-white omelet, egg salad, juice, soup, avocado toast, and more. “At Hammer, the breakfast menu focuses primarily on a healthy and well-balanced breakfast. All of the dishes are low in calories and oil. These dishes, in my opinion, are ideal for the summer” said Chef Biswas.

“I think it is very important to have conversations around health. Even children nowadays are afflicted by lifestyle diseases. It is critical for everyone to stay hydrated and fit during the hot summer months” said Abhisekh Kajaria, entrepreneur and owner of Hammer.

Shikha Agarwal, a nutritionist and lifestyle coach, believes that living a healthy lifestyle is a journey rather than a destination.
