Director Ashoke Viswanathan, actor Anusha Viswanathan, editor Arghyakamal Mitra, and others graced the press conference of Hemanter Aparanha.

The story is about a man residing in the countryside who is drawn into the theatre world. The local group wants to act in the Bengali version of the play Pirandello and he gets involved with a 20-year-old girl, who is new to theatre. The film shows how an unlikely relationship unfolds. What happens next?

Speaking about the film, the director said “People think that after a certain age, one cannot fulfill any more dreams of their own. But that is a wrong notion. Even after you retire at age 60, you still can have other desires that you might fulfill. The film throws light on such aspects”.

The producers of the film are Ashoke Viswanathan and Amit Agarwal.

The music has been composed by Gaurab Chattopadhyay.

The cast of this film consists of Anusha Viswanathan, Satyapriya Mukhopadhyay, Rwitobrata Mukherjee, Bidipta Chakraborty, and Ashoke Viswanathan.

The film is in Competition on Indian Language Films and is a 110-minute Bengali film.
