Heritage Business School, Kolkata, organized its alumni meet Smriti 2023 in the Heritage campus which was addressed by Prof. K. K. Chaudhuri, Director, Heritage Business School, Prof. Anup Sinha, Chief Mentor, Heritage Business School, Mr. P.K.Agarwal, Chief Executive Officer, Heritage Group of Institutions, Prof. Bobby Basu, Faculty member and also Faculty in-charge of the entire alumni meet, Mr. Chiranjib Dutta Chaudhuri, President, Heritage Business School Alumni Association and Ms. Pubasha Roy, Vice President, Heritage Business School Alumni Association.

Throughout the event, students put on some brilliant cultural acts, including dance, music, band performances, and more.

Mr. Chatterjee gave the children some of his mantras for success while reflecting on some fond memories of his time as a student. “What you study in the Institute is really a fundamental theory, but what you learn while working for a corporation will further your career,” said Mr. Chatterjee.

Professor K.K. Chaudhuri praised the alumni members’ involvement in all facets of the Institute. Professor Anup Sinha invited the alumni members to impart their knowledge by way of case studies that might be taught in a course for budding business executives. Mr. Pradip Agarwal thanked the graduates for attending the alumni meeting in spite of their busy schedules. According to Mr. Agarwal, who spoke at Smriti 2023, “There is a culture at all the Institutions of the Heritage Group to engage and involve the alumni members since they are the actual brand ambassadors of the Institute”.

The event also featured a few student lectures that shared fond memories from the Institute’s founding in 2003.

Over 1900 Heritage Business School alumni members are employed in prominent positions all across the world.

The Institute will be completing 20 years in 2024 and they are planning for a mega event that can unite and integrate the entire alumni members on a larger scale.
