The Himalaya 1derwoman Project, which aims to bridge the gap between ambition and opportunity by connecting young girls with real-life female role models, particularly in sports and other fields, is set to inspire and nurture the next generation of women leaders and athletes.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Himalaya Wellness, India’s top face wash brand,  announced the launch of the Himalaya1derwoman Project, an initiative dedicated to empowering young girls to rise above challenges and aspire to be #1 in their chosen fields. To make this vision a reality, Himalaya partnered with the 2024 WPL champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Women’s Team, providing aspiring young cricketers with an exclusive training and mentorship session led by their sporting idols.

15 young female cricket players from a Bengaluru-based cricket academy were invited to a special training session with Smriti Mandhana, Ellyse Perry, Shreyanka Patil, and other top RCB players as part of the launch event. These young athletes had the chance to engage with female sports role models during the session, which was more than just a coaching experience; it was a platform for transformative mentorship. Beyond honing skills, the goal of the session was to instill self-belief, confidence, and the belief that these aspiring athletes belong on the pitch just as much as everyone else. Understanding that access to sports is frequently hampered by financial constraints, Himalaya Wellness has also sponsored cricket kits for these young athletes, giving them the means to follow their passion.

Expanding its reach beyond this event, Himalaya Wellness plans to bring the Himalaya 1derwoman Project to over 500,000 girls in Indian schools this year, providing them with the resources and encouragement they need to pursue their dreams.

With this launch, Himalaya Wellness continues its tradition of promoting confidence, self-belief, and holistic wellness, inspiring the next generation of women to push their limits and achieve great things.
