With great pride, Hindusthan Club Ltd. announced the second season of the eagerly awaited “Hindusthan Club Marathon Raising the Dust”. This event, which is set for Sunday, December 8, 2024, honors Kolkata’s thriving running culture and upholds the city’s values of fitness, camaraderie, and zeal.

The marathon is a historic athletic event in South Kolkata that gives runners a chance to take in the city’s charm while navigating its famous streets. There are three fascinating categories at the event:

Fun Run: 3 KM

Timed Runs: 5 KM and 10 KM

Race bibs, a gorgeously designed medal, and an exclusive participant T-shirt were among the major elements of the marathon that were shown during the press conference. These components inspire enthusiasm among runners and fans by symbolizing the event’s tenacity and resolve.

The event was graced by the club’s esteemed dignitaries, like President Mr. Rishabh C. Kothari, Honorary Secretary Mr. Chandra Sekhar Sarda, and Sports Chairperson Mrs. Swati Bihani.

The Marathon Organising Committee comprises Saurabh M. Shah, Prateek Bihani, Mehul Damani, Jigar Malani, and Anand Goenka.

The event’s Race Director is Vaibhav Pandya, a prominent marathoner in Kolkata.

The Hindusthan Club Marathon is a celebration of community, healthy living, and individual accomplishments rather than just a race. About 1,000 runners participated the previous year. The goal with Season 2 is to exceed expectations without sacrificing quality. They have included new elements this year, such as age-category podiums and a special 5 KM loop, to guarantee inclusion and participation for all competitors.
