Sundarbaner Vidyasagar, the upcoming original from hoichoi, released an intriguing trailer.

The series brings together Riddhi Sen, and Ushasi Ray, for the first time to narrate a unique story for the first time that is set in the Kumirkhali region.

The ensemble cast consists of Sankar Debnath, Rupanjana Mitra, Pratik Dutta, Doyel Nandy, Kaushik Kar, Sajal Mondal and Sudeep Dhara.

Korok Murmu directed Sundarbaner Vidyasagar, and it has been written by Arkadeep Nath.

Riddhi Sen said, “It has been a wonderful and exciting journey throughout.  I immediately recognized the story as having content that is both unique and impactful.”

Ushasi Ray plays the role of Parboti, a widow from the village of Kumirkhali. The layers in Parboti’s character are extremely dynamic, which has made the character unique to her.

The series is slated to release on the 11^th of March.
