One of India’s most enjoyable holidays, Holi celebrates the victory of good over evil and encourages community and pleasure. On this occasion, the renowned festival was celebrated with the event Holi Mahotsav 2023 in completely new colors at the Central Park Mela Ground by Marwari Sanskriti Manch and the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO), a sociocultural organization of Greater Kolkata.

It was attended by Sujit Bose, Minister of State for Fire, Sabyasachi Dutta, Chairperson of Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation, and many other eminent personalities.

The magnificent “Holi Mahotsav 2023” was well received by the public. Special attractions included the Dhap-Dhamaal performance by the Bawalia group and the Maharaas-Flower Holi by well-known Vrindavan artists. The tantalizing cuisine, together with Thandaai and Jharia Dal Pakodi, truly captured the spirit of this festival of colors! More than 5000 individuals attended the event, soaking up the Holi colors and the celebratory vibe.

The Manch’s major objective was to introduce current thinkers to Holi while preserving its traditional form. Dhap Dhamaal by the Bawalia group, Maharaas, and Flower Holi provided the music enthusiasts of Kolkata with nonstop enjoyment.

Marwari Sanskriti Manch and JITO have teamed up for this joyous festival because it is their duty to pass on cultural awareness to the next generation.
