International conference on Haematology HOPE Asia 2019 was announced at a press conference organized recently.

The press conference was graced by Dr Tuphan Kanti Dolai, Dr Maytree Bhattacharyee, Dr R. K. Jena and Dr Deepak Kumar Mishra.

The international conference was jointly organized by Eastern Haematology Group, Indian Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion and European Haematology Association from 23rd to 25th August at Hyatt Regency, Kolkata.

The major highlights of the press conference was the recent advancements in Lymphoma, Myelomas, Benign Haematology including Thalassemia, Haemophilia and others. Discussion on Paediatric and adolescent Haematology was also a part of the conference. Industry symposium meeting was also a part of the conference.

A walk for Haematology around the city was organized.

600 delegates joined the conference. 35 international faculties also graced the conference.

Despite so much advancement made in the field of blood cancer and other blood diseases, many people still become easy victims of the diseases.

Awareness is very necessary and such conferences are a great way of educating the people.
