Addatimes unveiled the first look of their new series “Petni” directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee.

It is a thrilling roller coaster ride with a mystery and horror component. It chronicles the adventures of four friends who leave at midnight on a lengthy drive: Raka, Nilesh, Jui, and Shovon. An odd and awful chain of circumstances gradually turns what begins as an enjoyable road trip into a terrifyingly unsettling encounter. They encounter an incident, and Raka disappears. Her life completely unravels when Raka comes back and she begins to be harassed by a lady. The terrifying plot revolves around what transpires next.

The story of Petni has been written by Padmanabha Dasgupta.

According to director Abhimanyu Mukherjee, there are numerous components in Petni. Petni is a horror series with a suspenseful mystery. They took a unique approach when shooting and designing Petni. There is an emotional component to the Petni narrative as well.

“I look forward to working with Abhimanyu Mukherjee every time. I have never been to a horror movie, and I get to play Petni, so this has been an unusual experience. This also signifies my first collaboration with Addatimes” said Ushasi Ray.

“I have never worked with Addatimes and Abhimanyu Mukherjee before. We have taken shots in several eerie places. I’ve always been drawn to scary tales and that is why I said yes to this project. After seeing Petni, I have no doubt you will be completely amazed” said Jasmine Roy.

The series boasts actors like Ushasi Ray, Jasmine Roy, Kanchan Mullick, Subhrajit Dutta, and Arnab Banerjee.

Petni will start streaming from 17th November.
