Nishir Daak, a brand-new horror thriller helmed by Joydeep Mukherjee, is a terrifying story in which music turns into a conduit to the unknown.

Six PhD students travel to Sonamukhi, a sleepy town, to study Nishigandha Bhaduri, a forgotten classical vocalist whom Tagore himself had complimented. However, when rumors of a curse start to reverberate through the night, their quest for art becomes an encounter with something much darker. What they are looking for in history quickly turns out to be horror, as every sound calls to the past and every quiet conceals a secret.

The cast of the series consists of Sreeja Dutta, Surangana Bandyopadhyay, Rajdeep Gupta, Somak Ghosh, Rik Chatterjee, Sweta Mishra, Arunava Dey, Raunak Bhowmick, Mukul Kumar Jana, Satyam Bhattacharya, Mainak Banerjee, Anubhav Kanjilal, Arnab Banerjee, and Chhandak Choudhury.

Hoichoi has produced some of the most well-known horror and thriller shows throughout the years, receiving a great deal of recognition for pushing the envelope in terms of atmosphere and narrative. Nishir Daak is the platform’s latest offering, a spine-tingling story that will add mystery, melody, and terror to the Diwali–Kali Pujo season.

This spine-tingling series, which was conceived by Arya Ray and written by Sreejib, with music by Binit Ranjan Moitra and cinematography by Tuban, will be available exclusively on Hoichoi starting on October 17.
