Hulladek Collected 4000 KG Of Electronic Waste From 500 Houses In South Bengal
The fastest-growing e-waste management company in Eastern India, Hulladek Recycling Pvt Ltd, has gathered more than 4000 kg of electronic garbage from more than 500 houses in South Bengal over the holiday season. The organization, which has its headquarters in Kolkata, already has an e-waste collecting network spanning 24 cities in 18 states and wants to expand its collection stations throughout all of India.
In collaboration with more than 20 sustainable organizations, including Paschim Bengal Pradeshnik Marwari Mahila Samelan, Inner Wheel Club, and others, Hulladek conducted a nationwide e-waste collecting drive last month under the name Festive Edit. The goal was to organize a nationwide e-waste collection effort while also educating the public about the need for a greener lifestyle.
“We clean our homes and get rid of all kinds of rubbish during the festivities. It is crucial that this garbage, especially e-waste, is recycled properly. Therefore, in collaboration with our partner organizations, we launched this national project. We are blown away by the response we have had from people in South Bengal, specifically in Durgapur, Asansol, Raniganj, Neyamatpur, etc. I salute the people of South Bengal for making “Festive Edit” a rousing success” said Mr. Nandan Mall, Chairman and Managing Director of Hulladek Recycling Pvt Ltd.
