Hulladek Recycling organized the ‘Green Architects 2024’.

It was an exhibition for a sustainable future that gave several organizations aiming to alter consumer recycling habits a platform.

A distinguished awards ceremony, Hulladek Honours 2024, honored people, organizations, towns, and groups that have shown exceptional dedication to sustainability and climate action, with a focus on waste management.

A series of panel discussions were held at the event namely Educating the Youth on Sustainability: Home Front vs School Front, Making Recycling the New Cool: Influencing Consumer Behaviour towards Habits of Recycling, How to Incorporate Sustainability as Part of CSR and Circular Economy of Electronics.

The introduction of an e-waste-based upcycled product line by Dr. Dhriti Banerjee, Director of the Zoological Survey of India, was another highlight of the event. Students from J D Birla Institute presented an Upcycled Fashion Show with a selection of handmade clothing. The clothes, which included dresses, t-shirts, coats, and shirts, were constructed from natural, herbal-dyed, and certified organic textiles that were meticulously sourced and produced to create one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect each person’s taste.

The awards to the various winners were handed over by Dr. Pradeep Vyas, IFS (Retd.), Vigilance Commissioner, West Bengal Vigilance Commission; Mr. Ketan Sengupta, CEO, Bengal Peerless Housing and Mr. Biswajit Matilal, Vice President, Corporate Communications, Birla Corporation Limited.
