Hulladek Recycling Collects 100 Tonnes Of E-Waste By June
On the occasion of World Environment Day in June 2023, Hulladek Recycling Pvt Ltd, Eastern India’s fastest-growing e-waste management company, which collects and channels electronic and electrical waste across 18 states in the nation, conducted a two-week e-waste collection drive in the city of Kolkata. Nearly 100 tonnes of e-waste were gathered from different corporations, and more than 3.5 tonnes of e-waste were collected from homes and people.
A large collecting effort was organized by Hulladek, who gathered almost 40,000 kg of electronic garbage from Mondelez, 900 kg from Red Bull, 488 kg from the German Consulate, 100 kg from Berger Paints, 120 kg from the Max Muller Bhavan, and 130 kg from FabIndia.
In Kolkata, businesses and manufacturers have typically been aware of the waste and pollution produced by their operations and have actively participated in measures to address this growing concern. These businesses may route their e-waste strictly within the guidelines specified by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) thanks to the trash management services supplied by Hulladek Recycling. This accomplishes two goals at once: it prevents hazardous electronic and electrical waste from being sent to landfills or the unregulated market, which would result in poor waste management; and it ensures that businesses receive their just financial compensation for the waste they send to be recycled. Additionally, Hulladek offers appropriate documentation in the form of forms and certificates that businesses can use in their audit.
