E-waste management company Hulladek Recycling Pvt Ltd collected more than 7000 Kg of e-waste from educational institutions of Kolkata and suburbs as a part of their ‘Freedom from E-waste’ campaign that was run throughout the month of August.

The company, with its headquarters in Kolkata, has a collection network of e-waste across 24 cities in 18 states of the country at present and plans to increase its collection points across all states of India.

The wastes were collected from various educational institutes that include La Martiniere For Boys, Sri Sri Academy, J D Birla Institute, Basanti Devi College, BT College Barrackpore, Vivekananda College, Kendriya Vidyalaya- Kakinada, Narasingha Dutta College-Howrah, Raja Peary Mohan College, Panskura College, and others.

Principals of all the schools and colleges have appreciated this initiative. Students also showed equal enthusiasm in this e-waste collection drive.
