Hulladek’s Amazing Project Vishwakarma To Educate Factory Owners On E-Waste
Leading waste management business Hulladek Recycling introduced Project Vishwakarma, a revolutionary program for the secure removal and recycling of antiquated industrial machinery from industries. The goal of the initiative is to educate factory owners and manufacturers on sustainable waste management, specifically how to properly dispose of hazardous trash and poorly disposed-of equipment to keep it out of the environment. It would help lessen the environmental impact by addressing West Bengal’s increasing e-waste problems.
The initiative was unveiled by Mr. Abhas Sultania, Managing Director, Frontech Private Limited, Mr Ankit Agarwal, General Manager, GTPL KCBPL, Mr. Indroneel Goho, President & CEO, Magpet Polymers Pvt Ltd, & Mr Sumitro Nag, Group Chief Operating Officer, Dey’s Medical Stores Ltd and Mr. Nandan Mall, Founder & CMD of Hulladek Recycling.
Hulladek has tied up with Emami Ltd, Diamond Beverages Pvt Ltd, Frontech Private Limited, GTPL KCBPL, Magpet Polymers Pvt Ltd & Dey’s Medical. They will oversee the appropriate recycling and trash disposal processes while abiding by the Central Pollution Control Board’s (CPCB) E-Waste Management Rules.
“Project Vishwakarma is an initiative that, in keeping with the values observed during Vishwakarma Puja, focuses on the safe and responsible disposal of electronic gadgets and machinery. This project aims to work with groups to make it easier for companies to collect and recycle the electronic waste that comes from offices and industries. We will promote behavioral change in the industrial sector through Project Vishwakarmawe, teaching companies about the risks associated with incorrect trash disposal and the long-term advantages of recycling. Our objective is to promote an industrial landscape that is more ecologically conscious and sustainable”, said Mr. Nandan Mall, Founder and CMD of Hulladek Recycling.
Hulladek Recycling arranges direct pick-up services for industrial e-waste as part of a systematic process for the logistics of waste collection and processing from industries. Following collection, the garbage is driven to our material recycling facility in vehicles that adhere to environmental safety regulations. These facilities separate, disassemble, and send garbage to approved recyclers for treatment, disposal, and recovery of precious metals. In addition, Hulladek monitors the full waste flow to guarantee openness and legal observance, supporting environmentally friendly manufacturing practices and efficient waste disposal.
By the end of FY 24–25, Hulladek anticipates processing about 2,000 metric tons of electrical and electronic trash. To spread the project throughout India, Hulladek plans to strengthen its network of collection points and establish strategic alliances with both public and commercial entities to encourage responsible disposal and public awareness.
Significant environmental benefits, such as decreased pollutants, carbon footprints, and landfill waste, are anticipated from Project Vishwakarma, which will also encourage resource conservation. To handle the increased volume of garbage from clean-ups and decluttering throughout the holiday season, Hulladek will speed up its e-waste collection services. This will assist homes and businesses in properly disposing of their gadgets for a healthier, cleaner environment.
