Debutant director Tannishtha Chatterjee’s film Roam Rome Mein was shown at the 25^th Kolkata International Film Festival.

A press meet was organized in the presence of the director, cinematographer Sunita Radia and others prior to the showing of the film.

The story is about Raj who goes to Rome in search of his missing sister. In the search, he meets magical characters who take him through his own journey of self realization. But does he find his sister in the end?

Speaking about her experience of shooting the film, the director said “I did not plan anything. However the team of the film consisted of both male and female members. It was a well balanced team and we had a great time shooting the film. We shot in Rome and that has a special significance. Watch the film to know more about it”.

Tannishtha said “Nawazuddin is a fantastic actor. I have worked with him as an actor. However it was a delight directing him in the film. He is a great actor”.

The actor also mentioned that it was a great honour for her as her film was been screened at 25^th Kolkata International Film Festival.

The music of the film is by Alokananda Dasgupta.

The cast of the film consists of Nawazuddin Siddiqui (Raj), Valentina Corti (Veronica) and Tannishtha Chatterjee (Reena).

The actor-director revealed that she will be shooting some new films soon.
