The trailer launch of “Hridpindo” took place in the presence of the cast and crew of the film.

The story of Hridpindo is about Arja, a practical, married woman who works as a lecturer in a science college. Somok, her husband, comes from a wealthy family and is devoted to his wife. Arja is confronted with an unusual circumstance and is transported back to her adolescence. Back then, she was madly in love with a boy named Wrick. Their love was intensely passionate, to say the least. This causes emotional havoc among three people who are inextricably linked: Somok, Wrick, and Arja herself. Does her heart lead her to true love? Is the heart just a lump of muscle that can’t feel any emotions?

Directed by Shieladitya Moulik, the film is presented by Kan Singh Sodha. The production house is KSS Productions & Entertainment.

The cast of the film consists of Arpita Chatterjee as Arja, Shaheb Chattopadhyay as Somak, Prantik Banerjee as Rick, Ananya Sengupta as Rimpi, Anubhav Kanjilal as Student, Abhi Mitra as Student, Dr. Dipanwita Hazari as Minati, Subrata Ganguly as Dr. Goswami and Pradip Chakraborty as Arja’s Father.

Durnibar Saha has sung the title track of the song. The singer was looking forward to how the song has been used in the film.

Prantik Banerjee said that the film has maintained the same vibe that it had two years ago. And that speaks volumes for a film.

“I am passionate about the film. I have never felt any tiredness during the shoot. I used to wake up early morning and gave my first shot at 6 am. But the scene filled my heart. The director is an out-of-the-box individual. His script is incredible and the way he narrates the story is fantastic” said Shaheb.

The director said that after a span of two years, the film is releasing and it felt like a dream come true for him.

The film will release on 13th May 2022.
