Director Anindya Banerjee, music director Chirantan Banerjee and others graced the press meet of the film Watchmaker at 24^th Kolkata International Film Festival 2018.

The film is an anti-logic film. Most individuals are defined by logic but with this film, director-actor Anindya Banerjee breaks the barrier of logic. The film has been shown at many places and people have either walked out of the hall or have been so shocked that they have been glued to their seats.

The film’s story is about a stranger who comes to a watchmaker to order a watch. Time stands still in her life. The film raises a debate on the three concepts of time- time that is rolling back, time that is fixed and the time that do not exist.

Speaking at the event, Anindya Banerjee said “I am making the anti-logic films as often my urge to explore other concepts is often not satisfied with the kind of work I do in films. Hence this need to do films which will be different and which will satisfy my inner artist”.

Anindya Banerjee, Ritabhari Chakraborty, Joey Debroy and Ritabrata Bhattacharya will be seen in pivotal roles in the film.

The film will not be released in theatres and the director will release the film in digital platform. But nothing has yet been decided about where the film will finally be released.
