A Poila Boisakh Special Thali launch event was organized at Ibis Kolkata Rajarhat.

Gracing the launch was model Madhabilata Mitra, folk singer Dipanwita Acharya, Amita Mishra, General Manager of Ibis Kolkata Rajarhat, and many more.

Speaking at the launch, Madhabilata Mitra said “We are so busy. Who gets the time to cook so many dishes at their homes? Many of us are not even aware of the recipes as well. In such times, thalis of this kind help us to get a taste of these amazing dishes at the start of the Bengali New Year. Like every other year, I am starting the New Year celebrations from Ibis Kolkata Rajarhat”.

The Poila Boisakh Special Thali consists of dishes like Bhetki Fish Fry with Kashundi, Vegetable Chop, Luchi, Bengali Fried Rice, Kosha Mangsho, Chicken Lonka Bata, Prawn Malai Curry, Aloo Posto, Rosogolla, Mishti Doi, Sondesh, and Mishti Paan.

Dipanwita Acharya said “Bengalis love their festivals. And Poila Boisakh is nothing different. We believe that if we gorge on good food on the first day of the new year, we will have good food on our plates for the rest of the year. This is a tradition that is continuing for the past many years. And with the launch of this special thali for Poila Boisakh, Bengalis will be able to savor a great many amazing dishes”.

The specially curated thali will be available from the 8th to the 15^th of April from 11 am to 3 pm.

It is priced at Rs 1199 plus taxes.
