ICAI’s Excellent Yoga Sessions At Its Branches & Regional Councils
To raise awareness of the health advantages of yoga, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) held yoga sessions in all 176 of its branches and five regional councils in observance of the 10th International Day of Yoga.
Since 2015, ICAI has observed International Day of Yoga (IDY) as a dependable partner in the advancement of nation-building. In keeping with this custom, yoga programs have been established all over India.
In New Delhi, the Yoga Session was conducted by Yog Gurus from Bharitya Yog Sansthan and CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, President of ICAI, CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, Vice-President of ICAI, CA. (Dr.) Debashis Mitra, Past President, ICAI along with Central and Regional Council Members of ICAI performed Yoga.
“Yoga embodies the values of discipline, focus, and balance, which are integral to the Chartered Accountancy profession. We value our members’ well-being above all else, and we hope that practicing yoga will improve their general standard of living. Our daily routines can become more harmonious on the personal and professional levels by including yoga” said CA Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, President of ICAI.
The Vice-President of ICAI, CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, said, “Yoga not only tones our bodies but also sharpens our thoughts. It is a source of resilience and inner strength, which are critical traits for chartered accountants. We are dedicated to encouraging a balanced, healthful lifestyle for everyone on the planet, not just our members”.
ICAI’s commemoration of International Yoga Day serves as a reminder of the organization’s commitment to promoting its members’ overall health. With the help of these programs, ICAI is promoting both national and international development.
