Iconic NSE Bull Monument Inaugurated & Coffee Table Book Out Now
Together with Shri Ashishkumar Chauhan, MD & CEO of NSE, the Hon. Governor of Maharashtra, Shri C P Radhakrishnan, inaugurated the iconic NSE Bull monument and unveiled a commemorative coffee table book titled “The Journey of Empowering 1.4 billion Dreams” at NSE Headquarters.
The NSE Bull statue stands for resilience, strength, and power—essential to India’s economic development. The bull represents the country’s healthy financial ecology with its powerful legs, noticeable hump, and commanding presence. Amid figures that depict Indians from all walks of life—a schoolboy, a villager, and professionals, for example—the sculpture highlights the country’s unity and inclusivity as an investment destination. This classic work of art symbolizes the nation’s combined efforts, working toward the shared objective of economic advancement.
An examination of NSE’s development and its contributions to India’s growth narrative during the previous 30 years can be found in the coffee table book “The Journey of Empowering 1.4 Billion Dreams” published by the NSE. Since the NSE began operating in 1994 and during the past 30 years, India’s financial markets have seen a transformation. The book explains the NSE’s crucial function as both a driver and a reflection of India’s development.
The Coffee Table Bookstand and NSE’s Bull sculpture serve as iconic turning points in the development of India’s capital markets. India now boasts the fourth largest capital market and the fifth largest economy in the world, and the NSE is the biggest stock exchange globally in terms of volume of orders and trades. This accomplishment demonstrates India’s capacity to create and maintain top-tier institutions that support the country’s economic goals and move the country closer to the vision of a Viksit Bharat, as outlined by Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji.
