This has been developed by an alumni group from Jadavpur University, Calcutta University and IITs. Their main target group are those students who cannot afford to pay high tuition fees.

Speaking at the launch, Abhishek Biswas said “If there can be social media for entertainment, news, and health, why not develop one for education? It will not take much space in the smartphone as it is only 13 MB. With this app, we want to show that there are problems that can be solved by the common man too”.

ClassRoute will be launching its Hindi version as well in the future.
