Indo-Korean Taekwondo Cultural Festival- Fostering Better Relationships
The Indo-Korean Taekwondo Cultural Festival is about relationships, connecting, tradition, and sentiment. This is among the most valuable festivals in the world. Since 2008, the Indo-Korean Taekwondo Cultural Festival has taken place.
Roy’s Taekwondo Academy & GCS West Bengal India Chapter organized the 2024 Indo-Korean Taekwondo Cultural Festival, International Award Ceremony, MoU Signing Ceremony, World Taekwondo Training Seminar, Indian Classical Music Show and World Taekwondo Fashion Show as well as to exhibit our National Culture & Heritage before the Globe and BUSINESS INTERACTIVE SESSION with FOREIGN INVESTORS & LEADERS from different countries at Nazrul Tirtha, New Town, Kolkata.
The first Hon’ble Chairperson of LOKPAL Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose and Pioneer Taekwondo Personality & Former India Team Member Grand Master Pradipta Kumar Roy (Ex Sports Consultant, Indian Statistical Institute, Govt. of India & World Taekwondo Plaque of Appreciation Recipient) were the Organising Chairman and President respectively.

On behalf of Hon’ble President of World Taekwondo & GCS International Dr. Chung-won Choue, Dr. Seok Jae Kang, Secretary General, GCS International & Senior Consultant, World Taekwondo (WT) attended the event. Dr. Kang is also Vice President of the Asian Journalist Association.
Their mission is to use taekwondo to expand business opportunities both domestically and internationally. Along with Olympic Taekwondo, they also want to promote culture, tourism, motivation, stress management, and the Defensive Tactics System. After football, taekwondo is the second most popular sport in the world. They aim to industrialize taekwondo to bring prosperity.
Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose, Grand Master Pradipta Kumar Roy, and International Master Ruma Roy Chowdhury received the prestigious KUKKIWON Honor.
The GCS National Award recipients were Col. S. P. Banerjee, Dr. Swapnanil Bose, Dance Choreographer Mrs. Alpana Sen, and Mrs. Tamali Majumder.
The 2024 IKTCF Award recipients were Musician Kumarjit Ganguly, K. K. Gupta, Industrialist and Musician Atanu Majumder.
