Indulge In Vasant Ritu Khasa At Royal Vega, ITC Royal Bengal
The vegetarian repertoire from the subcontinent and beyond is showcased in Royal Vega’s classical grandeur. The restaurant is based on the concept of eating fresh, seasonal produce in complete harmony with nature. Much of the cuisine on offer is based on Ayurveda, and much of it is seasonal.
Ayurveda, an ancient body of knowledge on health, has had the greatest influence on Indian cuisine. Its roots can be found in the Arthaveda, whose contents date back to around 100 B.C. AYURVEDA is derived from the words Ayus, which means life, and Veda, which means knowledge.
Ayurveda does not refer to Hindu medicine; it refers to the science of life. It is a science of living that encompasses everything from an individual’s life to the universe’s. In this regard, Indian cuisine plays an important role.
Ayurveda is a science that includes what is likely the oldest and most visionary of all the sciences.
The Royal Vegetarian Menu’s concept is based on three critical factors. The first is rasa, or the philosophy of taste; the second is the food crop, which includes vegetables, fruits, and grains that are available all year; and the third is the food crop, which includes vegetables, fruits, and grains that are available all year. Finally, there is the year-round availability of fruits and vegetables.
The Indian food is influenced by the six seasons that the Indian subcontinent experiences. The six seasons (Ritu) begin with Magha and end with Sisira (cold and wet). Vasanta (spring), Grisma (summer), Varsa (monsoon), and Hemanta (winter) are the four seasons.
The Vasant Ritu Menu is on offer till 14th May 2022. The delicacies on offer include Mewa Paneer, Kadali Badaam Kofta, Shatawari Maarmik, Shahiphal Sandesh, Dal Soya Makhana, Pithi Poori, Hari Mirch Puulika. Ajwaini Roti and many more.
