IPRS Conducts Workshop To Make Musicians Aware Of Their Rights
It is very important to know about intellectual property rights in the music industry. Music creators and independent music artists must also be aware of the aspects of the music business and publishing. Understanding this need to educate musicians, The Indian Performing Right Society Ltd(IPRS) started a campaign titled My Music My Rights.
As a part of this initiative, IPRS also hosted a workshop titled My Music My Rights, Creators Connect program in collaboration with Dolby Labs in Kolkata.
The event had eminent dignitaries like Jeet Gannguli, Dr. Upali Chattopadhyay, Sidhu, Karan Grover, and others.
The eminent guests at the event highlighted the challenges that music creators faced in India. Through this event, they will not only be educated but also empowered. They will understand how to protect their IPs and assert their rights.
