The Vivo group’s sub-smartphone brand iQOO released The Quest Report 2024, a study conducted in collaboration with CyberMedia Research (CMR) that examines Gen Z trends and traits related to ambitions, careers, and aspirations. This research provides an insight into the aspirations and life journey of one of the world’s most optimistic generations. It summarizes the opinions of 6,700 respondents, who ranged in age from 20 to 24 and were from 7 different countries: India, the US, the UK, Brazil, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Three main topics are covered in the report: the spirit and desire of Gen Z Questers to achieve their goals, impediments, and roadblocks that impede their pursuit of passion, and employment options that align with their interests.

Nipun Marya, CEO, of iQOO India, and Prabhu Ram, Vice President– of Industry Research Group, CyberMedia Research (CMR) graced the event.

Nowadays, success and notoriety have a new meaning that is determined by how popular you are on the internet. Within the quick-paced realm of influencer culture and social media, it is as transient as the blink of an eye. Gen Zs are hankering after the taste of 15 minutes of fame, but the topic also raises ethical and/or merely appealing questions about this job.

Examining several facets of what success means to Generation Z, the research uses a quantitative indicator called the Quest Index, or QI, to decipher the ambition, drive, and enthusiasm of Questers. The results showcase India’s QI as 9.1 followed by Malaysia with 8.7 QI, Thailand & USA with 8.2 QI, Indonesia with 8.1 QI, the United Kingdom with 8 QI, and Brazil with 7.8 QI.

Additionally, according to primary research, 62% of Indian youngsters are willing to give up their hobbies and other interests to pursue their aspirations. The report’s conclusions are all consistent with the snappy-smart Gen Z’s drive to succeed despite all obstacles.

The Quest Report emphasizes the immense potential that India possesses on the international scene and the hope that is propelling this extraordinary youth.
