In the august presence of Shashi Panja, Honourable Minister, Government of West Bengal, Dr K K Ramalingam, Founder and Advisor, ISO, Dr Ravi Ramalingam, Vice President, ISO, Prof (Dr) Dwaipayan Mukherjee and others, ISOCON 2019 was inaugurated.

After a long time, ISOCON was organized in Kolkata. ISOCON is one of the biggest platforms of India for otologists, the super specialist doctors of Otology, the branch of medical science which deals with the treatment and prevention of the diseases of ear of humans.

The main focus of the conference was on microscopic ear surgeries, endoscopic ear surgeries, cochlear implant surgeries, hands on temporal bone dissection competition, workshop on all the three days, ISOCON fellowship and many more.

Increase in mass awareness and the discussion on the knowledge of the latest art of technique of treatment and prevention of ear problems was highlighted in the conference by the various ENT doctors from different parts of India and abroad.
