Arindam Sil will be directing a web-series on a woman serial killer. The Hindi-Bengali mixed web-series is titled Troilokyo. The lead role of Troilokyo will be enacted by Jaya Ahsan while the role of Priyonath Mukhopadhyay will be enacted by Tota Roy Chowdhury. Both Jaya and Tota have been part of Arindam Sil’s first film Aborto.

The first reference for the series was an article. The second one was Priyonath Mukhopadhyay’s story Darogar Daptar. The period is 1960-70.

The series will not only focus on Troilokyo but also show a counter detective in the form of Priyonath Mukhopadhyay, who is often referred to as India’s first detective.

A lot of research is being done for the web-series as this is based on real life incidents.
