The largest award event organised by the JIS Group, JIS SAMMAN 2024, was held at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre. Celebrities, academics, members of the JIS Group community, and notable figures from the entertainment and sports industries graced the occasion. The ceremony opened with the prize presentation, and then legendary rock group FOSSILS gave a thrilling performance.

This year, the JIS Maha Samman was conferred to Dr. Suman Chakraborty, Professor& Dean at IIT Kharagpur, and Dr. Partha Sarathi Bhattacharya, an eminent Pulmonologist.

JIS SAMMAN 2024 sought to honour outstanding accomplishments in sports, culture, and academics from a range of JIS Group-affiliated institutions. This yearly programme aims to recognise and reward those who have made noteworthy contributions to their disciplines. The main attraction of JIS SAMMAN, like in years past, was the esteemed JIS Maha SAMMAN awards, which are given to people who have achieved greatness in their fields and left a lasting impression on society.
