JIS Samman Sports & Games – 2023 organized by JIS Group started at Guru Nanak College Campus.

The opening ceremony saw the esteemed presence of Sambaran Banerjee, Former Captain, Ranji Trophy & Indian Cricketer, and Dipendu Biswas, Indian National Footballer.

The presence of the kids from Ananadamoyee School for Specially Abled Children added to the excitement of the opening session.

The fourteen teams lined up for the national anthem at the Inter College JIS Samman Sports & Games 2023’s grand opening ceremony, which was followed by a vibrant parade. The Anandamoyee School students accompanied the players as they moved the ceremony along. A variety of sports, including football, basketball, cricket, badminton, and table tennis, were played during the JIS Samman Sports & Games – 2023. Several people came to the competition to watch and support their favorite sportsmen and teams. The final day of the competition featured all of the sporting events’ championship matches. Following the competition, awards and trophies were given to the winners and runners-up.

The tournament was not just about playing sports but it was also about creating bonds of friendship and teamwork among college students and faculty. The authorities hoped to see more occasions like this in the future.
