A press meet was organized for Star Jalsha’s newly launched serial Kora Pakhi.

The press meet was attended by Parno Mittra, Rishii Kaushik, Leena Gangopadhyay and Saibal Banerjee.

The story of the serial revolves around Amon, a girl who was raised by a community in Purulia as she was abandoned at birth. Her dream is to become a journalist. Ankur and Medha visit Amon’s village during a festival. What happens next?

Speaking at the press meet, Parno Mittra said “I am being questioned how it feels to make my comeback on the small screen. But I was never away. My films were shown on television. I made my comeback because now the kind of roles that are being developed for the actresses are great. So I thought it is a good time to do a mega serial”.

Leena Gangopadhyay highlighted on the fact that the story of Amon will inspire beyond the conventional and enable them to push boundaries.

When questioned about the fact that many audiences were finding similarities with the earlier serials produced by the production company, Rishii Kaushik said “People will find similarities because of some certain common factors. Otherwise, the story of every character is different. Many issues of tribal people are still not known to the common people. With the serial, I hope people will come to know about it”.

The serial is produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures.

The serial began airing from 13^th January, Monday to Friday at 9 Pm only on Star Jalsha SD and Star Jalsha HD.
