Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla 2025 To Honor The Best Talents


Filmfare held a press conference to announce the Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla 2025, an event that recognizes and honors outstanding talent and storytelling in Bengali cinema.
The conference was graced by Subhashree Ganguly, Sunil Agarwal (Chairman & Co-Founder, of Joy Personal Care), Poulomi Roy (Chief Marketing Officer, of Joy Personal Care), and Jitesh Pillai (Editor-in-Chief, Filmfare).
The conference began with a symbolic lamp lighting to commemorate the official launch of the Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla 2025. In a special moment, the iconic ‘Black Lady’ trophy was revealed to the conference attendees.
Subhashree Ganguly, Barkha Bisht, and Puja Banerjee are set to deliver spectacular performances at the much-anticipated Filmfare Awards ceremony. The show will be hosted by Raj Chakrabarty, Shiboprosad Mukherjee, and Puja Banerjee.
Nominations for the year 2025 have been released for technical and popular categories, totaling 25 categories.

Bohurupi bagged 16 nominations, Padatik 14, and The Frame Fatale and Khadaan 12 nominations each at this year’s Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla 2025.
Actor Subhashree Ganguly said, “They say dreams do come true, but unveiling this trophy and being a part of this moment goes beyond any dream I’ve ever had. I’m very excited about this year’s Filmfare Awards and looking forward to the celebration. This is a platform for honoring art and artists and recognizing their outstanding work. Because I’m also performing this year, the occasion is even more special, and I can’t wait to be a part of this spectacular evening”.
The Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla 2025 will recognize exceptional talent in Bengali cinema from theatrical films released between January and December 2024.
The grand event is scheduled for March 18th, 2025, at the JW Marriott in Kolkata.
