There is a realm beyond our materialistic one where many events take place but are beyond our conscious awareness. In light of this setting, the story of Chhipkali centers on a detective questioning a suspect in relation to a murder investigation. Our conscious attitude, perspective on the tangible world, our society, its standards, and the entire judicial system are all put to the test by this story. It highlights our inability to see beyond stereotypical realism by challenging our constrained view of the universe and our false beliefs about life, which are exclusively drawn from what we immediately observe.

A writer who is suspected of killing his children and wife is acquitted by the high court, but he is questioned by a perceptive investigator who thinks in terms of the real world, whereas the writer prefers to imagine other worlds. It is discovered that we actually have no clue of what is happening around us or how ideas affect us when two universes collide in the same temporal realm. Whether it’s Karma or a lizard, someone is always watching what we do. This movie serves as a warning to anyone who believes that they are free to do anything they want. Oh no! You are under observation.
