For the first time in Bengali cinema, a biopic on Kazi Nazrul Islam has been announced. Kinjal Nanda will portray the main role of Kazi Nazrul Islam.

The film will be directed by Abdul Alim.

This biopic will show the life of the poet from childhood till his last days.

The other important characters in the film will be portrayed by eminent actors.

Kinjal Nanda shared that the shoot will begin in winter. There will be a great usage of prosthetics in the film. To portray this role, the actor is busy researching about Kazi Nazrul Islam.

The shooting will take place in different parts of Bengal and outside the state as well.

Sougata Basu has written the script of the film.

An important part of the film is the music of the film. For composing the music of the film, talks are on with musician Joy Sarkar.

The team is doing extensive research for the film so that it turns out to be a good biopic.
