The Hilsa Festival, a gastronomic event devoted to the city’s Hilsa-loving food enthusiasts, is being held at the Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport. The distinct touch provided can ease a voyage that begins at the estuaries and ends at the plates.

Bengalis are transported back to happy memories of monsoons spent as children relishing the fish with loved ones as the aroma and taste of hilsa wafts from kitchens across the state as the rain pours down. Hilsa is more than simply a meal; it’s a feeling that connects with the Bengali spirit and represents the coziness and comfort of family, tradition, and home.

The mouth-watering delicacies are curated by Executive Chef, Sabyasachi Nag.

The menu consists of dishes like Barista Elisher Bhaja Masala, Mawa Ghater Lej Bhorta, Jhal Makha Bhapa Elish Paturi, Helencha Saag Elisher Jugal Bandi, Ilish Panikhola, Tel Jhal Begun Elish, Sile Bata NarkelSorshe Elish, Khirod Elish Korma, and Bhaja Elisher Pulao.

This Hilsa Festival special lunch and dinner menu is available at Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport for the entire of  August 2024. 

The rates are INR 999 plus taxes onwards.
