The announcement for director Pritam Sarkar’s film Soth Bhoot Odbhut took place in the presence of the director, Kharaj Mukherjee, Prasun Gain, Partha Sarathi, music composers Anindya Bose, Mainak Ray, and others.

The story is about two friends Biltu and Rana. One is a thief and the other sells tickets illegally. They get caught one day. They get beaten up fiercely. They think of a grand idea after this incident. They go to a dense jungle. What happens next?

According to the director, the story will give the message about how two men turn their life from bad to good.

“The director waited for ten years to get a producer so that he could make this film. This speaks volumes about his perseverance and determination. I wish him all the luck” said Partha Sarathi.

Speaking at the event, Kharaj Mukherjee said “Not many producers support the films that have out-of-the-box thoughts. I must thank the producer for believing in the director’s vision and supporting his film. The fact that Paran Bandopadhyay will be acting with us is a great help for us. He is an institution in himself and he will guide us whenever required”.

Paran Bandopadhyay, Raju Majumder, Puja Sarkar, Evelina Chakraborty, and others will be seen in other pivotal roles in the film.

The shooting of the film will start in May.
