Klikk since its inception has been making amazing content for the audience. Now they have come up with a mega series Barujjye Family.

The trailer was released recently.

The series is directed by Sumalya Bhattacharya. “This was an innovative idea and that is why I agreed to do this mega series on Klikk. The cast is amazing. We faced many challenges yet we were able to complete the shoot in time” said the director.

The story begins in the Banerjee family’s comfortable two-bedroom apartment in Kolkata. Every episode offers a humorous perspective on their common familial and social problems.

Married for thirty-four years, Bidhan and Kalyani Banerjee are the oldest pair in the house. Rabindranath Tagore enthusiast Kalyani is the dominant one, and she is frequently irritated by her husband Bidhan’s frugal habits.

Arun, their eldest son, is employed in the corporate sector and appears to be the sole rational member of the family. Simran, his spouse, is of traditional Punjabi descent. Kalyani finds her cultural differences offensive, which causes “saas-bahu” drama.

Though Kalyani dislikes her Punjabi name, their ten-year-old daughter Gurkiran is a YouTuber and is loved by many.

The youngest son and Kalyani’s favorite, Barun, also known as Barry, is the last one. Despite having no professional work, he considers himself to be a rapper.

Each week, viewers are treated to unique and engaging stories as each episode introduces a new issue that is eventually solved.

The cast consists of Rohit Mukherjee, Sudipa Basu, Sweta Tewari, Swarna Shekar Joardar, Rituparna Sen Rii, Amrita Debnath, and Preksha Saha.

Rituparna Sen Rii said “This is the first time I play a yoga instructor. I come to the Barujjye family to teach them yoga. What fun happens after I come to the family will make for an interesting watch. I love shooting. This is my first time working with Klikk. It was a great experience”.
