The trailer launch of the web series Amra 2Gayther took place in the presence of director duo Abhijit Guha-Sudeshna Roy, Sagnik Chatterjee, Poulami Das, Rana Basu Thakur, and others.

The story of the film is about a boy who is in love and wants to marry. However, his father is furious and opposes their marriage. This might seem like an ordinary tale. But what this series different is that he wants to marry his close male friend who is a Radio Jockey by profession. Can they marry and live happily together?

Speaking about the series, Sudeshna Roy said “Despite a law being passed about same-sex marriage, it is still a difficult proposition in our country. Though people are opening up about this marriage, there are still people who oppose same-sex marriages. With this series, we wanted to show how the same-sex marriage situation is in India now”.

The cast of the web series consist of Indrasish Roy, Anindya Chatterjee, Sudipta Chakraborty, Pujarini Ghosh, Poulami Das, Sudip Mukherje, Pallavi Chatterjee
and RJ Ayantika.

Siddhartha Roy (Sidhu), Gaurab Chattopadhyay (Gabu), and BIG FM RJ Shekhar will be seen in guest roles in the web series.

The writer of the series is Sagnik Chatterjee.

The music of the series has been composed by Rahul Tanmoy Subhro.

The producer of the series is Dipanwita Samanta. The production house is A Fingercross Fashion and Entertainment Venture Pvt Ltd.

The web series has begun streaming from 24^th December 2021 on Klikk.
