Manoj was born in Allahabad which is presently Prayagraj. His father is Giridhar Malaviya who is as of now the Chancellor of Benaras Hindu College. He did his tutoring from St Joseph’s Religious community and graduated in Brain Research and Reasoning from the College of Allahabad. He did his LLB from Calcutta College for his benefit.

Career and Achievements

Manoj began his career in 1988 as a Sub-divisional Police Officer in Shantiniketan and proceeded till 1990.
In 1990, he became the Addl Director of Police in Durgapur and South 24 Parganas.
In 1994, he became the Administrator of the Police of Nadia, Midnapore, and Bardhaman. He has moreover served the post of Appointee Commissioner of Kolkata Police conjointly Uncommon Director of Police – CID.
