The Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) Ladies Wing announced the grand spectacle of the JITO Ladies Premier League 2024, which is being organized by JITO East Zone & Kolkata Ladies Wing. The event is scheduled to take place at the NKDA Cricket Stadium in Rajarhat, Kolkata, on January 4 and 5, 2024, as part of the JITO Sports project. It is a celebration of strength, spirit, and unity.

The JITO Ladies Wing, the beating heart of empowerment, has set out to use sports to highlight the unwavering strength of Jain women. The competition, which goes by the name JITO Ladies Premier League, promises to be more than just a showcase for cricket brilliance. It is also a place where ambitions, grit, and friendship can come together.

This Premier League is a dynamic tapestry woven with the threads of equality, diversity, and communal growth, not merely a cricket competition. The league, consisting of nine teams representing nine zones, unites 108 people from different backgrounds, including households, workplaces, and kitchens. It’s a celebration of the modern woman who enters the league with unshakeable resolve and skillfully balances multiple roles.

The JITO Ladies Premier League is an extension of the JITO Ladies Wing, representing the fundamental principles of education (Shiksha), service (Seva), values (Sanskar), security (Suraksha), and self-reliance (Swalamban) that go beyond the cricket pitch. These five pillars provide direction for both professional and personal development as well as for making a larger contribution to the advancement of society and the community. The league seeks to improve women’s socioeconomic standing by focusing on change via leadership, technology, and economic prosperity through a variety of initiatives, including education assistance, the Centre for Excellence, business networking, marriage, minorities, jobs, sports, and more.

This competition is a showcase for the strength and potential of Jain women as a whole, not simply a game. It’s all about dispelling myths and using athletics to leave a legacy of empowerment.
