“L.S.D-Laal Suitcase Ta Dekhechen? Has Suspense Elements But Is Essentially A Love Story”- Sayantan Ghosal
Director Sayantan Ghosal announced his next film L.S.D-Laal Suitcase Ta Dekhechen?.
Numerous regular lives undergo an abrupt change in one night. With the help of her college classmate Trina, Rupsa, a girl from a noble family, experimented with various drugs in an effort to escape the harsh realities of life. As soon as Rupsa’s marriage is fixed, she contacts Amartya, a classmate from college, about going on the L.S.D. trip. Life for Amartya was enmeshed in a labyrinth of regulations.
On that night, several lives are entangled with the L.S.D. adventure. Rupsa understands that addictions are odd paradoxes that push individuals into the dark. Rupsa and Amartya rediscover who they are and their love during that pivotal one-night period in their lives. On that night’s voyage, various people’s needs, feelings, and pain collide, forcing them to respond. Nothing is more addictive than life, Rupsa and Amartya declared aloud that night at dawn. Living life to the fullest can provide all of life’s flavors, which alcohol cannot. So they plan to give up using drugs and embrace life itself.
Sayantan said, “I have wanted to explore the subgenre of movies that LSD belongs to for a very long time. It is a dark comedy, which is extremely uncommon in Bengal. The movie follows the misadventures of Soham and Sayoni’s characters, who unintentionally kill a rude cab driver. They have the added issue of being drugged up while being sought after by the police, their family, and a few other nefarious people. The narrative follows them on a single night’s adventure as they dash across the city dodging issues that crop up one after another with the primary goal of disposing of the corpse they are toting around in a red suitcase. Although the plot is full of surprises and thrills, the film is basically a love story”.
“The process of filming was challenging but entertaining. Since I felt that sets would detract from the authentic, gritty tone we were going for, every scene in the movie was shot in a real place. From public restrooms to brothels, the shoot and crowd control were both intensive. Crowds of people would flock to see Soham, a well-known popular celebrity. I am pleased that a well-known actor like Soham has agreed to serve as the film’s producer. Sayoni has been a blast to work with. She is a wonderful artist and is so modest. The movie, which is undoubtedly one of my favorites, would appeal to those who like suspenseful content” added the director.
The cats of the film consist of Soham Chakraborty, Saayoni Ghosh, Kanchan Mullick, Labony Sarkar, Sumit Samaddar, June Maliah, Abhijit Guha, Subhadra Mukherjee, and others.
The music is by Savvy.
The story, screenplay, and dialogues are by Sayan Dasgupta.
The film is presented by Soham’s Entertainment.
