The exciting second season of Labonnyo, a heartfelt initiative by Techno India Group, was organized recently. It celebrated womanhood with an inspiring award ceremony that honors the spirit, tenacity, and accomplishments of remarkable women who have become trailblazers and changemakers in a variety of fields.

It is a platform that honors not just achievement but also the bravery required to overcome obstacles.

The journeys of each recipient are tales of fortitude, empathy, and purpose. Labonnyo exemplifies the various dimensions of female power, ranging from social service, sports, and the arts to leadership and entrepreneurship. Techno India Group wants to inspire more women to take bold steps by honoring these icons.

“Women have repeatedly had to put in twice as much effort to establish their value and assert their claim to space. Our homage to people who overcome obstacles with bravery, empathy, and purpose is Labonnyo. We honor their journeys and celebrate the role that women play in creating a more inspiring and inclusive world through this platform”, said Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group.

The Chief Guest to the ceremony was Dr Sashi Panja, Minister of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare of West Bengal, and the Industry, Commerce & Enterprises Departments, Government of West Bengal.

The award presenters who conferred the honours to these remarkable women were Dibyendu Baruah, Arindam Sil, Dr. Kunal Sarkar, Rita Bhimani, Nandita Palchoudhuri, and Pt. Tejendra Narayan Majumdar, Somjit Dasgupta, and Ranadeep Moitra.

There were ten categories of Awards in Labonnyo 2025 – Snehapurna, Oishani, Swadha, Aarohi, Adweta, Dhriti, Dyuti, Asmi, Maanvi, and Devi, the lifetime achievement award.
