Large Number Of Devotees On Ganesh Chaturthi At Shree Shiddhivinayak Temple
The days of traveling to Maharashtra for Ganesh Chaturthi are long gone. The Shree Shiddhivinayak Temple, a singular 360-degree temple, is located in the City of Joy and adds a lovely feather to the rich cultural heritage of the nation.
The Devasthanam’s past is just as fascinating. Radheshyam Agarwal and Radheshyam Goenka, two childhood best friends, purchased a 200-year-old Mallick Kothi in Barabazar, where they began their industrial careers and realized their aspirations. The two friends agreed to dedicate the Muktaram Babu Street building to the benefit of the public as a token of their gratitude at Shri Siddhivinayak’s feet. On February 28, 2020, just prior to COVID-19, the Devasthanam was offered at the feet of Lord Siddhivinayak.
Shiddhivinayak Temple in Kolkata is a proponent of serving the public interest. The Mandir Management now offers a number of courses, including spoken English, Tally and GST courses, advanced beauty treatment, advanced garment designing, and advanced beauty therapy. Industry specialists oversee every course. The Mandir fraternity also provides affordable healthcare services, including pathology tests. In reality, free blood sugar tests are available to everyone throughout the year. Additionally offered here is EECP heart therapy. The infrastructure here is on par with that of any other healthcare institution for diabetic foot and eye diseases. Seniors who need pain alleviation might attend acupuncture camps.
One can only hope that Shree Shiddhivinayak Devasthanam Mandir in Kolkata would serve as an example for all such temples worldwide. The Mandir does not use plastic items and provides the necessary accommodations for people with disabilities.
This year, the Mandir saw a significant turnout from all spheres of society on the occasion of the fourth Ganesh Chaturthi event, echoing Ganapati Bappa Morya.
