Harappa Education announced its partnership with Techno India Group to launch the first-of-its-kind Leadership Academy in India. Gracing the occasion was Shreyasi Singh, Founder and EO, Harappa Education, Prof. Manoshi Roy Chowdhury, Co-Chairman, Techno India Group, Meghdut Roy Chowdhury, and other eminent guests.

Harappa Education and Techno India Group have come up with a Leadership Academy to groom the young talents to meet the demands of the workplace. Five hundred third-year students of Techno India Group across different campuses in India will be trained.

In the course of the next few years, Harappa plans to come up with new academies across the country to help create a job-ready workforce. The leadership skills that the students will learn will be helpful during job interviews and also at the workplace.

80% of engineering graduates and 60% of MBA graduates in India are unemployable due to a gap between the curriculum that they are taught and the requirements of the industry. Now workplaces require candidates with qualities like agility, critical thinking, adaptability, and the ability to bring order to chaos.

The Harappa Leadership Academy will offer online courses for building core fundamental skills, leadership experience projects to ensure the everyday practice of leadership concepts and workshops that bring leadership skills to life and ensure peer learning. The student will also create a personalized leadership journey and work with a leadership coach throughout the semester, through monthly 1-on-1 check-ins.

After the success of this academy, the authorities will decide whether this will be open for students outside Techno India and the charges will also be decided then.
