The Russian Education Fair 2023 was organized by the Russian House in Kolkata in collaboration with Rus Education for students hoping to study in Russia. Russian House in Gorky Sadan hosted the fair. The fair was officially opened by Ms. Ekaterina Lazareva, Attaché, Head of Protocol, Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Kolkata. 

The education fair was not organized during the pandemic. However the pandemic was over, and the fair was again organized.

The Russian Education Fair is being hosted in Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, and Ahmedabad this year. The sole purpose of holding this exhibition is to assist Indian students who are interested in studying medicine, engineering, or aviation at higher levels in Russia.

The participating universities in the Kolkata Fair were Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University; Orenburg State Medical University; Moscow State University of Psychology and Education; Mari State University; and Perm State Medical University, among others.
