Life Beyond Bladder Cancer Organized At Medica Superspecialty Hospital
On the occasion of Bladder Cancer Awareness Month this year, Medica Group of Hospitals organized an awareness and cultural program at Medica Superspecialty Hospital along with their Bladder Cancer Support Group’s cancer survivors.
The conference mostly focused on the “Life Beyond Bladder Cancer”. At the event, Dr. Abhay Kumar, Head of Urology, Surgical Oncology, and Robotic Surgery at Medica Superspecialty Hospital threw light on some myths and facts, as well as signs that may indicate bladder cancer.
50 inspiring cancer survivors recounted their experiences after the disease. The cancer survivors held a cultural program for the attendees of the event after the awareness session.
The hour-long presentation and interactive session guided viewers through clinically relevant subjects, covering everything from diagnosing this cancer’s symptoms to the specifics of treating them for wellbeing.
Cancer is very treatable if found early, just like other illnesses are, especially with routine screening and care. With awareness programs like this, the hospital authorities want to make people aware of such ailments and get treatment at the earliest.
