Logo of 10th Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival Unveiled at Oxford Bookstore
The second set of speakers for the 10th Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival was announced at an event held at Oxford Bookstore. Maina Bhagat and Anjum Katyal, Directors, Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival unveiled the logo of the literary festival.
The #LetsCelebrate campaign would span for a month till the grand AKLF 2019 weekend from 18th– 20th January 2019. The #LetsCelebrate Campaign Partners are India Hobby Center, Chemould, Wow Momo, Flurys, Olypub, Tata Starbucks, Carat Lane and others.
The speakers at the literary festival include Devdutt Patttanaik, Durjoy Datta, Ramachandra Guha, Shahsi Tharoor, Sudeep Nagarkar, Upamanyu Chatterjee, Ashwin Sanghi, Anuja Chauhan, Anita Ratnam, Andy Conner (UK), Farooq Abdullah, Jugal Hansraj, Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Ravinder Singh, Saket Suman and others.
AKLF will be organizing the first edition of the prestigious award for new women writers-the Prabha Khaitan Women’s Voice Award in association with Oxford Bookstore which recognizes fresh voices in women’s writings from India. The fourth edition of The Oxford Bookstore Book Cover Prize will focus on an important aspect of book production- the book cover. The shortlist for the award will be made public at AKLF in January while the winner will be announced at the Jaipur Literature Festival later in the month.
The three day cultural fiesta will feature interesting sessions on different diverse topics.
The literary festival will take place from 18th to 20th January 2019at four venues namely Oxford Bookstore, Allen Park, Park Mansions building and grounds and Development Consultants Pvt Ltd’s Your Space of Celica House.
