The look-set of the Bengali film Black Day took place recently at a studio in the presence of the director Barshali Chatterjee, cast members Rittika Sen, Joy Roy, Rupanjana and Pujarini Ghosh.

The film is a thriller and is a story on time lapse. The time does not move forward and is stuck in a same time. Rittika Sen plays a tomboyish character. She leads the story. The moment she enters the film, the film turns into a romantic thriller. “This is the first time that I am doing a full on thriller. Hopefully the audience will love it” said the actress.

Rupanjana plays a super model in the film. The actress mentioned that since the film is a thriller, she will not be revealing much about the film. Her character is at par with the character of Kangana Ranaut in the film Fashion.

Barshali Chatterjee in between the look set said “My last film Jenana was a thrilling film as it showcased the life of the transgenders. And this film is a complete thriller. So you see I am coming back with a film which is a thriller after a span of two years. So there is a time gap and hence the film is on time lapse”.

The shooting will take place at Golf Green and Bakhrahat.

Amit has composed the four songs of the film.

The shooting of the film will begin from 16^th June.
