Anjali Jewellers and Ahiritola Sarbojanin Durgotsav Samity have joined hands this Durga Puja. Mr. Anargha Chowdhury, Director, Anjali Jewellers, Mr. Shamik Kumar Saha, Mr. Dulal Seal, Joint Organizing Secretary, Ahiritola Sarbojanin Durgotsav Samity and Mr. Tanmoy Chakrabarty, Concept Designer, Ahiritola Sarbojanin Durgotsav Samity unveiled the costume jewellery collection of the idols of Ahiritola Sarbojanin Durgotsav 2018.

Anjali Jewellers have collaborated with Ahiritola Sarbojanin to design the costume jewellery of Maa Durga and her sons and daughters- Karthik, Ganesha, Lakshmi and Saraswati along with that of Mahishasur. The renowned puja organizers will portray the ‘Anjali’ culture of the royal palace of Ahiritola, keeping the theme as ‘Ahiritola Rajbarite Anjalir Prastuti’. With an opulence of the heritage of Bengal royalty- the entire aura of the Durgapuja pandal will be based on the nostalgic feel of ‘sabekiyana’. Keeping pace with the traditional ambience of Ahiritola Sarbojanin durgapuja, Anjali Jewellers has designed the jewelleries with a touch of tribal note using copper and silver as the prime ingredient of the same. Kundan and Naksha artwork is vivid in the bijouterie as a combined artistry of Jarau and Naksha work will go trendy with the goddess’s costume while keeping the ethnicity taut.

A first of its kind auction of the ornaments will be organized where visitors of the Ahiritola Sarbojanin Puja pandal will get to see the auction going on right near the main puja pandal. The entire fund raised through this social drive will be used in the education of underprivileged girl children.
