In the august presence of Sushmit Mukherjee, Shrabani Bhunia, and Snehasish Chakraborty, the press conference for the upcoming Star Jalsha serial Madhabilata was organized.

The story of Madhabilata is about a girl named Madhabilata who is a girl from Janglahata forest. She has a deep connection with nature. Madhabilata vows to continue saving the forest just like her mother. She starts a battle against timber smugglers and is noticed by the people in the area. Using her art and dance skills, she raises awareness about timber smuggling.

Sobuj is a wildlife photographer who is awed by Madhabilata and admires her.

New challenges begin to start in Madhabilata’s life. Will she be able to overcome them?

Sushmit Mukherjee will be seen in the role of Sobuj, a wildlife photographer. “I am not a good photographer but I love wildlife and love to travel. And the best part about shooting this serial is that we are able to travel to so many places. It has been a great experience” said the actor.

Shrabani Bhunia will be seen in the titular role of Madhabilata. “I am glad that I was chosen for this role. We have a diction teacher on the sets who guides us. And apart from that Snehasish da has been helping me so much to get into the character of Madhabilata. She is a powerful girl who is fearless and goes against the wrongdoer” said the actress.

Snehasish Chakraborty said “The character of Madhabilata and the villain is based on real-life characters. Madhabilata’s character is based on a girl I saw in Odisha. I was thinking of taking a break from serials as I was finding them monotonous. However, this idea came to my mind and the channel agreed. The audience will be able to see the beauty of Purulia in the serial. They will also get to see real romance onscreen”.

Shrabani also said, “How did my mother die? Why is my elder sister not talking? These are some mysteries that will keep on unfolding as the serial progress”.

Snehasish Chakraborty was much impressed with the lead actress and even praised her for her dedication. “She has not slept at night often to rehearse her lines. She even had wounds on her feet while shooting. However, she continued on unabated. This kind of dedication is what impressed me. And the way she did the action scenes was commendable” added Snehasish.

The show has been produced by Blues. This production company has produced shows like Khokababu, Bhojo Gobindo, Khelaghar, and Khukumoni Home Delivery on Star Jalsha.

The show will air from 22^nd August from Monday to Sunday at 8.30 pm only on Star Jalsha SD and Star Jalsha HD.
